Do you eat two meals or five meals a day? Love to graze in between classes? Need a place to study and grab a late-night snack? You’ll find plenty of choices among our meal plan options to best fit your lifestyle, budget and schedule.

Meal Plan Options

Meal plans are available to any student living in a residence hall or off campus.

First-year, residential students may be required to purchase the All Access 7 or Weekly 14 Meal Plan, as indicated in their housing contract. 

All Access 7

$2,814 per semester
Unlimited, All Access Visits 7 days/week

$250 Dining Dollars per semester

  • Unlimited visits seven days a week at our All Access venues.
  • Covers 100% of your meals and snacks each semester. 
  • Includes five guest visits per semester.

Available to any student living in a residence hall or off campus. First-year students are required to purchase the All Access 7 or Weekly 14 plan.

Weekly 14

$2,430 per semester
14 All Access Visits/week
 
$450 Dining Dollars per semester

  • A good fit for students who eat an average of two meals per day on campus.
  • Unused visits do not roll over from week to week.
  • Includes five guest visits per semester.

Unlimited All Access Visits, Monday-Friday

$350 Dining Dollars per semester

  • Unlimited visits five days a week, Monday-Friday, at our All Access facilities.
  • A good fit for students who regularly eat three or more meals each day on campus throughout the week.
  • Includes five guest visits per semester.

Available to any continuing student living in a residence hall or off campus. Not available to first-year students.

Weekly 10

$1,937 per semester
10 All Access Visits/week
 
$450 Dining Dollars per semester

  • A good fit for students who visit All Access facilities no more than 10 times per week. 
  • Unused visits do not roll over from week to week.
  • Includes three guest visits per semester. 

Available to any continuing student living in a residence hall or off campus. Not available to first-year students.

Commuter Plans

These plans are perfect for students living off campus who eat some meals on campus but want flexibility. These plans are not available for students living in residence halls. These plans remain active and roll over each semester, until graduation, as long as it is used at least once per semester.

About Meal Plans

All meal plans include a combination of All Access visits and Dining Dollars: 

All Access visits, which can be used at:

  • Rivers Street Cafe in Central Dining Hall
  • Park Place at the Pond in Trivette Hall

& Dining Dollars, which can be used at:

  • Any of our retail locations — Sanford Commons (including Chick-fil-A), Rise Cafe', Crossroads, Wired Scholar, Cascades Cafe' & Hickory's Hatchet Coffee
  • AppBakery
  • Campus coffee shops
  • Campus convenience markets
  • Food trucks with various campus community partners
  • Vending machines throughout the campus
  • All Access locations at Rivers Street Cafe' (Upper Central Dining Hall) and Park Place at the Pond (Trivette Hall)  (see door prices)
  • Grubhub carry out
  • Express carry out

Dining Dollars roll over from fall to spring semester but expire at the end of each academic year. Dining Dollars from Block Plans will continue to roll over if used at least once per semester. 

Estimating cost of attendance? The Office of Student Financial Aid uses the All Access 7 plan to calculate cost of room and board. Residential students will select their meal plan in their housing contract. 

How to Purchase a Meal Plan

Students living in residence halls choose a meal plan option when they complete their housing contract. Students and their established guests may view account selections, transactions and balances through their eAccount login. 

Students living off campus that would like to add a meal plan may choose a meal plan option by submitting the Meal Plan Change request form (for the specified semester).  When chosen in advance, meal plans will be ready to use automatically at the beginning of each semester.  If the link for the Meal Plan Change Request form is no longer active. Please contact the AppCard Office directly to add a commuter meal plan.

To change your meal plan please submit a Meal Plan Change Request Form.  This "Meal Plan Change Request" form link is available for the upcoming or current adjustment period only. The deadline to change meal plans is the Census Date of each semester. Spring 2025 requests will be accepted November 1, 2024 - January 27, 2025 (Census Date). The link to the request form can also be found on the AppCard Office website until the Census Date deadline of each semester. Additional information regarding meal plan changes can be found in the Housing Policies. Please note it can take 7-10 business days to process meal plan changes.  

Important Sign-Up Dates

On-campus residents

  • Continuing students: Nov. 1 (when housing contract opens for currently enrolled students)
  • Incoming students: Feb. 1 (when housing contract opens for new, incoming students)

All Enrolled Students: Census Date  (Deadline to change Meal Plan) 

 

 

Wellness Meal Pick-up

service iconCampus Dining offers a wellness meal pick-up for residential students with meal plans who are ill and/or isolating. 

To obtain a wellness meal, follow these steps:

  1. Complete the Wellness Meal Reserve Ticket Form each day you are requesting meals. Each request should be submitted by 10p.m for next day pick-up. 
  2. Please call (828) 262-7550 as you arrive to meet our staff and collect your hot dinner and next day's breakfast and lunch. 
  3. Pickup will be at Central Dining Hall 4-5p.m. daily. 
  4. This service will process one swipe per student's request.
  5. Submit any additional requests, as needed.

Summer Meal Plan Option

5 Week Plan $455 Dining Dollars 

This option will operate as a declining balance, with door prices for all access locations and retail purchase flexibility at retail venues.
